DISTRICT THREE

Menominee, Dickinson, Delta

Brendan Williams and Pete Klug were instrumental in getting district three up and running in the early 70’s. It is still the most active district and has a membership approaching 200. District three meets every month except October and November and is largely responsible for the Fair Booths in Escanaba and Norway and is now sponsoring an annual Trapper’s Workshop every year in Hermansville, with an emphasis on introducing youngsters to the joys of trapping.  In 2020 District Three held its first annual Banquet/Fundraiser at the Dickinson County Fairgrounds in Norway. The banquet has been held every year since and has been a great addition and bringing in the additional funds necessary to allow District 3 to continue to advocate for trapping and to carry out our mission of educating both trappers and the general public on the many benefits of trapping.
