Why Join Us?
Protect Trapping Rights
We actively work to ensure your right to trap is protected and respected.
Preserve Traditions
We teach and pass on our traditions to keep the trapping heritage alive for us and future generations.
Educational Outreach
We put Fur-Fish-Game magazines in many U.P. schools. Members do trapping presentations in classrooms, at community events, and at local clubs for kids and adults.
Community Engagement
We educate the public on the benefits and joys of trapping at conventions, workshops, local fairs and other venues.
Conventions
We host a convention in Escanaba MI every year for easy (and close to home) access to trapping and outdoor supplies, free educational trapping and hunting demonstrations, and fun kids activities.
Policy Advocacy
We participate in meetings to advocate for favorable trapping policies at NRC Meetings, Fur Taker User Group Meetings, and DNR sponsored meetings on various topics affecting trapping.
Timely Alerts
Utilizing your provided email addresses and cell phone numbers we send out urgent alerts on critical issues affecting your trapping future.
